Camera Phones

D.C. is fantastic! Seriously.

I haven't taken my camera out with me on any adventures yet tho, and I'm starting to get really anxious about that. Definitely remembering the camera mañana!

I had to get a new phone on Saturday, and it took an hour for the guy there to transfer my pictures.
Verizon guy: You have 318 pictures on your camera?  * Bitter stare * Seriously?
Me: uhhh hehehe it happens...you know, concerts, and, uh, stuff
Verizon guy:  * beleaguered sigh * You need to buy a real camera.

It's all cool though, we're both Barca fans and he gave me two Bollywood titles (and complete plot descriptions) so if anyone wants to do Bollywood movie night I'm down. I also learned that the U.S. has cricket leagues. Who knew? Verizon is so educational.

But seriously. More pictures ASAP.

Mmmm listening to some fantastic music also - Best Coast - When I'm with you and Chromeo - Night by Night (and the Dubstep version hehe)

Graná and the disposable camera

Apparently God LOVES me because I realized I took this camera through security like 4 times (and I was freaking out because of it before I got the pics back at CVS) - but most of the pictures still turned out looking awesome!
I actually got some prints of these! I really like having prints, I'm going to try to get more in the future and make albums. Because really in 20 years do I want to be showing my kids pictures on facebook? Um, nooo. My family keeps our photo albums right by the living room so sometimes I just walk by and pick them up and thumb through the pages - it's really nice to be able to do that, and to be able to have something to touch and not just stare at on the screen.
Anyways, I'm back in the good ol' US of A. It's been weird. At first I loved being home, and then I sortof hated it. There's definitely things I like about the U.S., and things I LOVE about Spain. And for me much more than some people, I didn't realize how much I would miss different aspects of life there until I got home.
